Ranabaali Wedding: Special Surprise for Newly Weds VIROSH

Ranabaali is an ambitious and prestigious venture headlined by Vijay Deverakonda, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, and presented by T-Series. The film created a nationwide sensation with its powerful title glimpse, which quickly trended across social media and significantly heightened expectations.

Rahul Sankrityan’s striking vision and grand period setting immediately captured attention, positioning the film as one of the most awaited pan-India projects. Adding to the excitement, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna recently celebrated their marriage in Udaipur, and the team surprised the newlyweds by unveiling a special glimpse showcasing the affectionate post-marriage moments between Ranabaali and Jayamma.

The visuals capture the richness of traditional Telugu wedding customs, including rituals like grinding turmeric, preparing henna, a celebratory bullock cart procession for the bride and groom, and the auspicious entry of the bride into her new home. With poetic, soulful lyrics and Ajay–Atul’s enchanting composition, the song radiates festive warmth, timeless romance, and deep cultural authenticity, further amplifying anticipation for the film.

The film is set in the 19th century, between 1854 and 1878 during British rule, and draws inspiration from real historical incidents that never found a place in mainstream history books. For generations, these forgotten stories survived only through village folklore, oral narratives, and traditional dramas, and the film now seeks to bring them to the big screen.

Arnold Vosloo, widely recognized for The Mummy, plays the role of Sir Theodore Hector. Mounted on a lavish scale by producers Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, the project is further elevated by Ajay–Atul’s electrifying musical score and a strong technical team. Ranabaali is slated for a grand worldwide release on September 11, 2026.
