AA22xA6 Update: Vijay Sethupathi Not In?

Recently, social media was buzzing with news that award-winning Kollywood actor Vijay Sethupathi would be playing a key role in Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone’s upcoming sci-fi thriller. The rumor suggested that Sethupathi, popularly known as Makkal Selvan, had been chosen as the main antagonist in the big-budget film directed by Atlee.

But the latest reports have now cleared the air. Sources close to the project confirmed that Vijay Sethupathi is not part of the movie. The viral news turned out to be false, ending the excitement of fans who were eager to see him share screen space with Allu Arjun.

Interestingly, Vijay Sethupathi earlier played the villain in Atlee’s blockbuster Jawan, which starred Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara. His powerful performance as the antagonist in that film received wide appreciation. This is one of the main reasons why the rumors about his role in Atlee’s next project quickly gained attention.

As of now, the official cast of the Allu Arjun–Atlee film, tentatively called AA22xA6, includes several top actresses. Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor are confirmed to be part of this ambitious project. However, the makers have not yet revealed who will be playing the main villain opposite Allu Arjun.
