Most Talented Tamil Actor To Join Ramayana?

One of the most talked about films in the coming days is the large-scale, visual-effects mythology film “Ramayana,” directed by Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari. The film has Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Rama, while Sai Pallavi will be seen as his wife Seetha Devi. More than that, both the musical legends and Oscar winners, Hollywood’s Hans Zimmer and India’s AR Rahman, are composing the music.

The latest update is that director Nitesh Tiwari is expanding the cast of the movie big time. Already, they have none other than KGF fame pan-India star Yash playing the role of Lord Ravana. And now, there is this very key role of Lord Ravana’s brother, Vibheeshana, whose character is important in the retelling of Ramayana. Reports are coming that they have approached Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi for the same.

Now that Vijay Sethupathi is also busy doing Bollywood films now and then, surely his arrival onboard kicks a lot of excitement. However, many are wondering if casting a Tamil actor for a role that’s actually said to be the brother of the Lankan king, might invite unwanted criticism from Tamils. That said, only if Vijay Sethupathi plays that role, the movie might make a gigantic impact.
