Vijay’s Divorce Case: Here’s The Latest Update

Tamil star hero Vijay’s personal life is no longer private. Amidst various rumours, his wife’s divorce case has sent shockwaves through the political circles. However, with April 20th being the big date, just 3 days before the elections, the actor failed to appear before the Court. The divorce case between Vijay and his wife Sangeetha Sornalingam, has been pushed again in the wake of this.

After adjourning the case previously, the Chengalpattu Family Welfare Court has once again done the same, pushing the next hearing to June 15. The court asked both Vijay and Sangeetha to attend the court without any failure. This is the second adjournment after the case first came up in February and then got shifted to April, right around the election window. Currently, this case is becoming a closely watched public issue.

Sangeetha’s petition clearly mentions allegations of an extramarital relationship with an actress. She claims she discovered it in 2021 and that it led to emotional stress, but then, Vijay continued public appearances and foreign travels with the same person, which added embarrassment for people at home.
