Rowdy's Project With Star Director Kept On Hold?

Young and sensational hero Vijay Deverakonda got a lot of popularity after 'Arjun Reddy'. He followed it up with movies like 'Geetha Govindham' and 'Taxiwaala' which further solidified his craze. He aimed to gain a pan-Indian success with 'Liger' but it backfired badly. His 'Khushi' too did not reach expectations. He is now trying to make a strong comeback with the wholesome entertainer 'The Family Star'.

He announced a movie with star director Sukumar long back. The official update was made years ago and everyone got pretty excited. The creative director is currently making 'Pushpa: The Rule' with Allu Arjun and it will be released on 15th August. Sukumar hasn't officially announced his next project after 'Pushpa' but sources say that he is going to team up with his 'Rangasthalam' hero Ram Charan once again.

Vijay Deverakonda is also doing a movie with Gautham Tinnanuri and has a few others lined up. These recent developments showcase that VD's film with Sukumar will not happen anytime soon. Both the hero and the director will be busy for the next two years. We need to wait and see if they team up in the future or not.

Coming back to 'The Family Star', it is directed by Parasuram and produced by Dil Raju. AS Prakash is the art director while KU Mohanan is the director of photography. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor of this movie. Gopi Sundar is the music composer of the film. Mrunal Thakur is the heroine in this project and the promotional material raised decent buzz on the movie.
