Vijay Sethupathi Praises Pawan & Calls Him 'Mass'!

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi's 'Maharaja' is getting released on 14th June. It is his 50th film and the trailer which came out a few days back got a very good response. Sethupathi plays the lead role while Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap did the negative role. The trailer is very well packaged and the dark tone definitely keeps the audience guessing. It is going to be a complete thriller filled with twists.

During the pre-release press meet of the film, the Telugu media asked him to talk about Pawan Kalyan who recently won the elections. Sethupathi conveyed his best wishes to Pawan and claimed that he is really happy for him. He said that he heard Pawan was being trolled while contesting but stayed strong throughout. He saw the clip of Pawan giving warning to the opposition and said, “This man in real life also mass. He is consistent. He is not the hero in some other's story but the hero in his own story.”

He added that he don't know about Kalyan sir. But a few Telugu people he knew put Pawan's status on social media and asked them the reason. He added that people need to be strong in order to face trolls, memes and criticism. Fans of PK are very happy to hear this from a person like Vijay Sethupathi.

Coming back to 'Maharaja', the rest of the cast includes Natty (Natraj), Bharathiraja, Abhirami, Mamta Mohandas, Singampuli, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Vinoth Sagar, Boys Manikandan, Kalki, Sachana Namidass and others. Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy is the producer while Nithilan Saminathan is the writer and director. Ajaneesh Lokanath is the music composer while Dinesh Purushothaman is the director of photography. Philmon Raj is the editor and Anl Arasu is the stunt director.
