Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja, Big Release Assured

The film Maharaja marks the 50th film in Vijay Sethupathi’s career. Directed by Nithilan Saminathan, the movie will see Bollywood director and actor Anurag Kashyap as the antagonist. Big release is assured for the movie in AP and TS with the noted distribution house NVR Cinemas obtaining the rights for the Telugu version.

Maharaja is a revenge tale centered around a barber played by Vijay Sethupathi whose house is broken into. As the movie embarks on a hunt to find his Lakshmi, the story evolves into an intense action drama filled with guns and gangsters.

Mamta Mohandas plays the female lead in the movie which was produced by Jagadish Palanisamy and Sudhan Sundaram. The movie which has music scored by Ajaneesh Loknath is getting ready for release.
