Versatile Actor Quoting 30 Crores As Remuneration?

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is known for his versatile roles. The National Award winning actor is known for pushing boundaries when it comes to getting into the skin of the characters he plays. Last year, he did many versatile roles starting from 'Farzi' to a villain in 'Jawan'. He did a lot of interesting characters and he is going to arrive on 12th January with another intriguing film like 'Merry Christmas'.

Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif are the lead actors in this film made by Sriram Raghavan. Sethupathi is open to doing movies in any language if the character impresses him. Sources say that he was offered a key role in Ram Charan's upcoming film under Buchi Babu Sana's direction. Vijay and Buchi Babu worked together in 'Uppena' before but reports suggest that Makkal Selvan's huge demand made the team leave in shock.

As per reports, the '96' hero asked for 30 crores in remuneration for the movie. The negotiations are reportedly going on still and we need to see what happens next. As we know, AR Rahman is giving the music for this movie while Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar is playing a pivotal role. The expectations are high on this movie and the shooting will start once Ram Charan wraps up his work on 'Game Changer' which is expected to hit the screens this September 2024.
