Versatile actor Chiyaan Vikram's 'Thangalaan' has arrived on 15th August and turned out to be a successful venture. This period drama had Vikram playing the role of a tribe leader while Parvathy and Malavika Mohanan played main roles as well. After getting good money from the South, this film is releasing in the North too. The Hindi version is hitting the screens on 6th September and Vikram recently revealed some interesting details regarding his script selection and future projects.

He said that he doesn't like doing the same kind of roles and even his fans will get disappointed if he becomes monotonous. He says that he is different and wants to try something new with each film and his fans too expect something unique from him everyone.

He hopes that 'Thangalaan' works out well in Hindi too just like 'Aparichitudu' and 'Ponniyin Selvan'. He is ready to act in Hindi films if a script that suits his taste arrives. He is quite happy about 'Ponniyin Selvan' getting so much love from the audience as well as winning 4 National awards. He added that he would have been happier if he received one too. He claims that 'PS' will be etched in the history books and Mani Ratnam made it in a fantastic manner.

He talked about having discussions with SS Rajamouli. He made it clear that he would work with the 'RRR' director but it might take some time. Vikram lauded Rajamouli as one of the great directors in the country and included that they are waiting for the right script.

Vikram says that 'Cobra' is the toughest film in his career but it did not work as expected. But it gave him satisfaction as an actor and he says that some films get appreciation but not money.
