‘Not Retiring, Just….,’Vikrant Massey Clarifies About His Career Plans

Actor Vikrant Massey recently clarified the confusion around his Instagram post which many believed hinted at his retirement from acting. He explained that his statement had been misinterpreted and assured fans he was only taking a temporary break to focus on his personal life.

In an interview Vikrant addressed the rumors. He said, “I’m not retiring just burned out. I miss home and my health needs attention. Acting is my passion, and it has given me everything. But I need to take some time off to improve my craft and prioritize my family and health.” He stated that the monotony in his life made him realize the need for a pause but he plans to return when the time feels right.

The actor made his first public appearance after the post at the screening of his latest film The Sabarmati Report held at the Balayogi Auditorium in the Parliament. During the event, he shared his thoughts about the film and the honor of watching it with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries. He avoided questions about his Instagram post leaving his co-star Raashii Khanna to address the media.

In his Instagram post on Monday, Vikrant announced that he plans to step back after 2025. He wrote, “The last few years have been phenomenal. But it’s time to recalibrate and return home as a husband, father, and son. Acting has been my life, but I need this break.” He also mentioned that he is currently working on two projects, promising fans a memorable farewell with his final two films before his break.

This announcement surprised fans and the industry sparking discussions about his decision.
