By: Tupaki Desk | 5 Jun 2025 8:38 PM ISTKollywood actor Vishal has landed in serious legal trouble. The Madras High Court has ordered him to pay Rs. 21 crore along with 30 percent interest to Lyca Productions. This ruling comes after a prolonged two-and-a-half-year legal battle between the actor and the production house over a financial dispute.
In 2022, Lyca said Vishal borrowed Rs. 21.29 crore to make a film and they would hold the rights until he paid back. But Vishal sold the rights to Veerame Vaagai Chudum to another company.
The court’s verdict comes after Lyca accused Vishal of breaking an agreement tied to film rights and unpaid loans. After months of legal back-and-forth, the judge made the final call.
Adding to the drama, fans have been alarmed by Vishal collapsing multiple times during recent stage appearances. Meanwhile, whispers about his possible wedding plans are making the rounds.
