In the recent past, there have been several complaints about YouTube reviewers who have been bringing up reviews of new films, just hours after their theatrical release. This has triggered film producers and directors who have been asking these reviewers to stay away from reviewing their films for at least a couple of days.

In this context, Tamil hero Vishal has requested YouTube film reviewing fraternity to avoid sharing new reviews of films for at least three days from the day of the release.

While interacting with the media on this topic, Vishal stated that YouTube viewers are putting up their reviews of new films, just few hours after the release. Instead, he asked them to maintain a three day buffer period for the same.

“It is good if these YouTube reviews are held back for at least three days from the day of the release of the film. At least 12 shows must progress before YouTube reviews are put up. Only this can help the struggling film industry now as it can be noted that YouTube reviews have been seriously affecting the box office revenue” Vishal stated.

Vishal made the statement with a socialistic approach and he has a perfectly valid point to make. However, the YouTube review community has been very provocative with their approach to this matter.

While it is a fact that Vishal made a perfect argument but chances of reviewing fraternity holding back film reviews for three days looks highly unlikely. The Tamil Hero stated that these YouTube reviews have been seriously affecting films and a possible solution must be found soon. It has to be seen what would be a feasible solution for this problem now.
