Manchu Vishnu’s Biggest Hit Kannappa Might Get a Prequel

Kannappa, the much-awaited film starring Manchu Vishnu, was finally released this Friday and surprised everyone with its strong start at the box office. This film has become the biggest opening in Vishnu’s career, and even trade experts were surprised by the response.

Kannappa attracted the audience with its devotional theme, large-scale visuals, and special appearances by big stars like Mohanlal, Prabhas, and Akshay Kumar. Fans loved the emotional and spiritual aspects of the film, making it a grand success.

The team recently organised a press meet in Hyderabad to celebrate the film's success. Manchu Vishnu looked very emotional while speaking to the media. He thanked the audience for their support and said, "This Friday belongs to me," expressing his happiness about the film's performance. He also promised a bigger celebration during the success meet.

When asked about his future plans, Vishnu made an interesting statement. Though Kannappa was made as a complete story, he shared that a famous director from today’s generation suggested making a prequel. The idea would explore the early life of Thinnadu, the man who later became the devoted Kannappa. Vishnu smiled and shared, "I laughed at the idea initially," but he did not completely reject the possibility. He hinted that if they get a strong script, they might consider the prequel.

Vishnu also openly appreciated the star cast, especially Prabhas. He admitted that Prabhas' presence gave the film a massive initial boost. "There is no ego in admitting it," Vishnu said, showing his gratitude towards the actor.
