Every Character in 'Kannappa' is a Hero: Mohan Babu

Dynamic Star Vishnu Manchu's ambitious film Kannappa is all set for release on June 27 with high expectations across India. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Dr. M. Mohan Babu under AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, this devotional action-drama has already created buzz with its trailer and songs.

At the grand pre-release event in Hyderabad, Mohan Babu said, "Kannappa began with the blessings of the Almighty. Every character in this film is like a hero. Director Mukesh Kumar Singh brought Kannappa to life. Writer Akella penned powerful dialogues. This film reflects devotion beyond caste or religion. I pray for its success with Lord Shiva's blessings."

Vishnu Manchu got emotional during his speech. He said, "Kannappa is not my film; it belongs to the divine. Watching it at the editing table, I was left speechless. Stephen Devassy gave amazing music. I thank Mohanlal sir, Akshay Kumar, Sarath Kumar, and especially Prabhas. There are two kinds of friends—Krishna and Karna. Prabhas is my Krishna, and I will always be his Karna. He had no obligation to be part of this, yet he joined for my father's sake."

Director Mukesh Kumar Singh shared, "Hyderabad is my karmabhoomi. Mohan Babu trusted me with this film. Vishnu completed most scenes in a single take. Prabhas is not a cameo—he’s an integral part."

Veteran comedian Brahmanandam added, "Kannappa is made to spread Lord Shiva’s philosophy, not for money." Sarath Kumar, Madhu Bala, Arpit Ranka, Sudhalla Ashok Teja, BVS Ravi, Thota Prasad, Akella Shiva Prasad, Ramajogayya Sastry, Shiva Balaji, and Mukesh Rishi also praised the effort and devotion behind the film.
