Is This The Misunderstood Aspect Of Funky?

Even for filmt hat don’t get great ratings and reviews, usually the first Sunday will be good as many crowds go easy on reviews and watch the films. But then, Funky didn’t get that advantage either.
If we look deep into the content, it looks like the film is a classic case of not making an understandable film. All the satires are aimed at people who are misusing the leniency given by producers to directors; however, outsiders do not understand those jokes in the movie. Only people working in films or related to the film industry are getting those jokes. That lack of relatability is what worked against the film big time. Though some satires by Dil Raju and Harish Shankar in the movie are very much true, somehow people are not enjoying that as expected by producer Naga Vamsi.
In the end, the film turned out as a self-goal by director Anudeep as to how directors waste the money of producers. Though director Anudeep has earlier hinted that Sithara Entertainment does a lot of repairs before the release, all those things didn’t work in Funky’s favour. Well, both the concept and content of a film should be universal in the first place.
