Despite the fact that there’s a pre-release event done with the likes of Suriya, Radhika Sarathkumar and Mamitha Baiju taking part, somehow “Viswanath & Sons” hasn’t got the attention it deserves. For reasons unknown, the film is not trending on the internet, though Suriya’s Telugu fans are eagerly waiting for the Telugu version.

Currently, if we look at the status of the movie, both the Telugu and Tamil versions are getting sold at the rate of 4.86K tickets/hour on the popular ticketing app ‘BookMyShow’. While that’s a very good booking, considering the fact that this is not an action film or usual high-adrenaline content, but a family movie. So everything for Viswanath & Sons depends on how the film is getting its mouth talk on Day 1, which is the day after tomorrow.

On the other hand, producer Naga Vamsi is expecting that they will break into the Tamil market big time with “Viswanath & Sons” more than they did earlier with Dhanush’s SIR. Just as Mythri Movie Makers has scored some biggest blockbusters in Tamil with Ajith and Pradeep Ranganathan, now Sithara Entertainment want to repeat a similar kind of success. We will come to know about it on August 14th.
