Ravi Teja Tries His Luck With Horror Story

Talented young Telugu director Vivek Athreya is once again in the news. According to recent reports, he is working on a horror-based script for Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja. The director recently met the actor and narrated the story. Sources say Ravi Teja liked the script very much and gave a positive response. If everything goes as planned, this project could be officially announced soon.

At the same time, there has been a lot of discussion about the female lead in this upcoming thriller as well. Social media was buzzing with rumours that Samantha Ruth Prabhu might team up with Ravi Teja. However, a latest report suggests that Samantha may not be part of this film. Instead, the makers are said to be considering Kollywood actress Priya Bhavani Shankar for the leading lady’s role. Though no official confirmation has come out yet, reports claim that Priya is currently the top choice.

Earlier, some media outlets had reported that Samantha was in talks for a different Ravi Teja film, which was expected to be directed by Shiva Nirvana. As of now, there is no clarity on that project either.

Ravi Teja was last seen in Bhartha Mahasayulaki Wignyapthi, a family entertainer directed by Kishore Tirumala.After facing back-to-back flops, Ravi Teja is said to have pinned his hopes on this upcoming horror thriller. It is the first time in his long career that he is attempting the horror genre.
