Allu Arjun Arrest: Bollywood Star Raises Valid Point

The sensational arrest saga of Allu Arjun is nearly done and dusted. After the Telangana High Court granted him the interim bail, Allu Arjun is likely to step out of the Chanchalguda Jail in a matter of minutes.

On this matter, Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi who was seen in Raktha Charitra raised a very valid point.

“While any loss of precious life is painful and should be avoided, is it fair to arrest Allu Arjun for this mishap? We all love our fans dearly. I've known Allu and his wonderful family for decades. They are law-abiding citizens who have always been patriotic and socially responsible. I personally know what a wonderful human being Allu is, and I'm sure he was deeply saddened by this tragic news.

I leave you all with a question: If this same accident had happened at a campaign rally of an important state or national candidate, would the police arrest them? Would they blame them for a law and order issue and treat the governmental figure the way Allu is being treated? Is this fair? I understand the police are doing their duty, but don't you think the system can be improved to prevent such incidents?

I have full faith in the Indian judiciary and believe justice will be done fairly in this matter. But shouldn't we strive for a more permanent solution to avoid such pain? As a great nation, shouldn't we be asking ourselves this question? Bunny, we know and love you for the gentleman you are off-screen, my brother. Praying for you and for the life lost. May God bless all those affected by this tragedy and their families, he questioned on the matter.
