Recently, Vyjayanthi registered an interesting title at the Film Chamber, ‘Chukkal Temmanna.. Tenchukurana’. The title comes from a hit song in the film April 1. Sources say the story is ready and will focus entirely on the heroine. Sreeleela and Bhagyashree Borse are being considered. The role is said to be strong enough to leave a lasting impression, and whichever actress takes it will get major attention. The project is already creating buzz.

The plot reportedly centres on the bond between a father and daughter and what a daughter would do for her father. Sreeleela was earlier considered for Lenin, but her dates clashed, opening the door for Bhagyashree Borse. Now both are in the running, making the casting news even more exciting.
