War 2 Budget: Jr NTR’s Pay Surpasses Hrithik Roshan's?

The excitement around War 2 releasing on August 14 is growing not only in Bollywood but also in Tollywood circles. The film is eagerly anticipated, particularly because of Jr NTR sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan for the first time. The teaser received mixed reactions but the trailer seems to have improved the situation with positive feedback so far. However, some feel the content needs to be stronger to match the hype.

A hot topic in the media is the budget and the remuneration of the stars. According to reports, War 2 is the most expensive spy movie ever made in Hindi cinema, with a budget of around ₹400 crore. Jr NTR reportedly received ₹70 crore for his role, while Hrithik Roshan was paid ₹50 crore. However, Hrithik's contract also includes profit-sharing, which could significantly increase his earnings if the film becomes a blockbuster. Kiara Advani is said to have earned ₹15 crore, and Anil Kapoor was paid ₹10 crore. Director Ayan Mukerji reportedly received ₹30 crore for his work on the film.

The total salaries amount to ₹150 crore, with the remaining ₹220 crore allocated for production costs. War 2 has now overtaken previous records set by Tiger 3 (₹350 crore) and Pathaan (₹325 crore) in terms of budget, making it the highest-budget film from Yash Raj Films.
