Box Office: War 2 Teaser Did More Bad Than Good?

The makers of junior NTR and Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming film War 2 released the Teaser of the film yesterday on the occasion of NTR‘s birthday, and it is one of the most happening cinema related topic now.

However, there is one detrimental factor that is happening after the release of the teaser yesterday, and this is having a direct impact on the box office prospects of the film.

Shortly, after the release of this teaser, there is a round of criticism and scepticism around the whole film as people are worried about the actual cinematic prospects of the same. While the action part in the teaser was released pretty decent, there are certain doubts about the formula like presentation of this action film.

In the recent past, Bollywood has made it a habit to release formula and staged action films based on spy backdrop and the same appears to be the case with this new outing from the War franchise as well.

This is reportedly having a significant say in the Telugu theatrical market of this film, as it was reported that the makers were quoting in the range of rupees hundred crore earlier. This was exclusively for the Telugu rights alone.

But after the release of the teaser, it is being established that the makers are not even getting offers in the range of ₹50 crore. Reportedly no buyer is interested in offering more than that for this film, after identifying that it is going to be a formulaic spy action film.
