The Telugu film market has grown into a major powerhouse, with movies from all industries Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil—gaining massive collections and attention. With NTR riding high on back-to-back successes, his upcoming Bollywood film War 2 is causing a stir. Starring alongside Hrithik Roshan, the film is already highly anticipated, set to release globally on August 15th.

As buzz builds, the race for the film’s Telugu rights is heating up. Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments is pushing hard to land the rights. Particularly after Devara's breakthrough, Sithara has been a major force in Tollywood and hopes to keep up the pace. A prominent personality in the Nizam area, Sunil of Asian Cinemas, is also vying for distribution of high-profile films.

The challenge, though, is the steep price Yash Raj Films is reportedly asking Rs 150 crore for the Telugu rights. Both producers are willing to meet that price, confident that the returns will make it worthwhile.

With Sithara Entertainments and Asian Cinemas battling it out, it’s unclear who will come out on top. All eyes will be on the outcome of this high-stakes competition for War 2's Telugu rights.
