War 2 In Hindi: 5X Jump Is Needed From Here!

It is already known that junior NTR and Hrithik Roshan have come together for their upcoming film War 2. And this film is preparing for its release on August 14. The promotional campaign has started now and the stage is for the release amidst decent anticipation.

But when it comes to the advance bookings in the Hindi belt, it really needs to be said that this Hrithik Roshan and NTR film is not up to the mark as the numbers are strongly underwhelming till now.

War 2 has sold 48,000 tickets in the top 3 national chains - PVRInox & Cinepolis - as on Monday @ 11 PM. Set to zoom past the 50,000 ticket mark by mid-night.

PVRInox: 38,000 tickets

Cinepolis: 10,000 tickets

Total: 48,000 tickets

Film will be on a journey of doubling the numbers on Tuesday, & Wednesday. But even by the destination, it really needs to be said that the film is strongly underperforming as it is required to sell in the range of three lakh tickets if it is to start on a solid note at the Hindi box office, which is simply not happening.

It appears that the decision to underplay the hype on the film through restricted promotional material and mediocre campaign is not working very well for the advance bookings of this film.
