Tollywood is always very receptive of young actresses and the rich culture of the Telugu film industry, nurturing many young actresses and making them female superstars proves the same. However, in the recent times, there has been a shortage of talented actresses, and this has left void for young actresses to capitalise on.

In this context, we have two young beauties who are fighting for the top chair in Tollywood and they Are Meenakshi Chaudhary and Sri Leela.

Coming to the topic now, Leela and Meenakshi appear to be in a contract war over a film. The film in question here is the recently announced project between Naga Chaitanya and Karthik Varma of Virupaksha fame.

First, the makers of this film had on boarded Meenakshi to play the female lead in the film. However, due to disclose the reasons she was sent out of the project and there were rumours that remuneration issues were the reason behind the same.

This was quickly followed by the decision by the makers on board, another young beauty, Sri Leela for the female lead role. However, this transition was also not very smooth as Leela had already agreed to do the film with Akhil Akkineni. As a result, she is unable to make schedule breaks for the film with Naga Chaitanya.

In the end, the makers had to again go back to Meenakshi Chaudhary and somehow convince her to get back on board. However, with the recent success that she tested with Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, it has to be seen if Meenakshi will be ready to reduce the remuneration which was the original cause of concern in the first place.

This has a led to a tense situation for the makers of this recently announced film, but a logical solution is likely to be found in the next few days.
