What Next For Sukumar?

After relentless journey, that lasted three years, Sukumar finally delivered the second part of Pushpa with Allu Arjun. This film has opened on a strong note at the box office, and it is sure to shatter many existing records.

Now that the film is done and dusted, the discussion is now about what is in the store for Director Sukumar next.

As Sukumar has the film with Charan, which is more or less officially confirmed. But the issue here is that Charan will have to first wrap up his ongoing film with Buchi Babu, which commenced production just a few days ago. It could take a while for this film to complete production and for Charan to available for Sukumar.

Meanwhile, Sukumar has a few existing commitments, including the fine tuning of Selfish which features Dil Raju’a nephew Ashish Reddy. Sukumar will be working on the second half of this film, which is being produced by Sukumar himself in association with Dil Raju.

Apart from that, Sukumar has a couple of few films in the early stages of production, which are to be produced under Sukumar writings banner. These are the immediate commitments of the buzzing director.

We are also hearing that Sukumar has a back pain issue that has been troubling him for the last few months. Now that he is done with Pushpa journey, he will be travelling to the US and get this issue sorted at a hospital there.

With Ram Charan likely to take at least a year from now to complete his ongoing film. The chances are that Sukumar will have all of 2025 to rejuvenate and recuperate. This gives him much needed layoff after a journey with Pushpa that lasted nearly 5 years.
