Why Did Nani & Venu's Film Get Shelved?

There are a lot of reports suggesting that Natural Star Nani and 'Balagam' Venu's film got shelved completely. The comedian-turned-director reportedly narrated a script named 'Yellamma' to Nani which impressed the latter initially. Many expected the movie to take off and even Nani talked about it during the promotions of 'Hi Nanna'.

He spoke very highly about the script. But the news is out now that he is not doing the project. As per reports, Nani had no intention of working with Venu despite liking 'Balagam' a lot. Apparently, Nani wanted to work on a family entertainer after 'Dasara' and 'Hi Nanna'. But he reportedly wants it to be commercial and larger-than-life and not the concept and culture-centric film that Venu narrated.

Sources say that Venu is narrating the script to other heroes too and Dil Raju is completely ready to produce the film. As we know, Nani is currently doing 'Saripodha Sanivaaram' with Vivek Athreya and started another project with Srikanth Odela. He announced a movie with Sujeeth as well but DVV Danayya who was supposed to produce the film backed out of it. Let us see if Nani and Veny work together in the future or not.
