Why Did Vassishta Walk Out Of 'Bimbisara 2'?

Young filmmaker Vassishta Mallidi made a dream debut with Kalyan Ram's 'Bimbisara'. This fantasy drama turned out to be a big hit and ended up in a lot of profits. People did not expect much from this movie and they were treated with a strong story, interesting screenplay and terrific visuals that too on a limited budget.

When Kalyan Ram announced 'Bimbisara 2', many expected Vassishta to handle this project too. But Vassishta walked out of the project and another director came into the forefront. Recently, the director who is working with Megastar Chiranjeevi now made some interesting comments. He reportedly said that getting a chance to direct the legendary actor made him take this decision.

'Viswambhara' is the title of Megastar's project and sources reveal that 13 sets were built for the movie's shooting at Annapurna Studios. Chiranjeevi will be taking part in the shoot in February and UV Creations is making this film on a grand budget. The concept video generated a positive response. It has been reported that the script has scope for five female leads in the film and two of them are going to be Trisha Krishnan and Mrunal Thakur.

Keeravani is the music composer while Chota K Naidu is the cinematographer. The movie is expected to hit the screens during the Sankranti season of 2025.
