But it is very important to dub the film carefully without a lot of mistakes and linguistic errors. Director Nag Ashwin is making 'Kalki 2898 AD' right now and his vision is leaving everyone speechless.
He is taking Indian cinema to the Hollywood level with 'Kalki 2898 AD'. But he took an interesting decision which surprised everyone. He made sure that every actor who played the main roles in the film dubbed for themselves. No matter how big they are, they gave their own voice in both Telugu and Hindi versions. We have heard the own voices of Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and other actors in Telugu as well.
It requires a lot of guts to make them learn the new language for dubbing. There will be a lot of problems with the pronunciations. But Nag Ashwin decided to go ahead with this plan. We can hear Deepika's voice being a bit unconventional in the Telugu trailer. Her own voice suited her perfectly but she messed up a bit when it comes to word breakage.
It is nice to hear her own voice and Nag Ashwin should be appreciated for making such a decision. On the other hand, there are complaints about the lack of lip sync in the Hindi trailer. But it might get rectified by the time of release. Let us wait and see if Nag Ashwin's decision pays off or not.
