Is Lord Ravana Becoming a Troublemaker Again?

While that happened in the past, in an era where Gods lived, now in the time of humans, where a film on Lord Rama is being made on a grand scale, it looks like the evil king’s role is going to be a troublemaker again.
Back then, during the days of no social media or anything, there were films made in many languages, where they glorified Ravana as the biggest Lord Shiva devotee. And in some films, he was portrayed quite powerfully. However, in this latest era, doing such a portrayal would invite lots of criticism from conservatives, hardcore religious folks and other fronts. Right now, with the Ramayana trailer and a song glorifying Ravana the same way, as Yash brought quite a bit of interest to the character, surely it’s a thing to worry about.
If Yash’s role gets such a portrayal, surely some people might object, saying that it is overpowering the role of Lord Rama, played by Ranbir Kapoor. Also it might kick up the North-South debate again, as both the roles of Sita and Ravana, portrayed by South actors Sai Pallavi and Yash, dominate Rama and other characters. The stronger the role of Ravana is, deeper the criticism might pop.
Anyway, hero Yash has amassed lots of disrespect by doing “Toxic” as the followup to KGF franshisee, and he might bounce back big time if the role of Ravana clicks.
