The conversation also mentioned several popular South Indian actors, including Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu and Vijay.
During the interaction, Rajat Sharma pointed out that many of these actors come from well-known film families. He said that although they are successful stars, Yash has created a different image for himself and became a pan-India star despite coming from a non-film background.
Rajat Sharma said, “Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu and Vijay all came from film families. But none of them became a pan-India star like you.”
Yash, however, did not compare himself with the other actors or take credit for being better than them. Instead, he praised them and gave a very balanced answer.
Yash said that all those actors are doing very well in their careers. He also made an interesting point about the term “pan-India star.” According to him, the title is not permanent. A star may get the tag at one point, but success can change with time.
Yash’s answer shows his respect for his fellow actors. He did not try to create a competition between himself and other big stars. His words also suggest that he believes an actor must continue to work hard instead of depending on a title.
Yash’s journey makes his statement even more meaningful. He came from a simple background in Karnataka and entered the entertainment industry without a major film family supporting him. Before becoming a successful actor, he worked in theatre and television.
His career changed completely with KGF: Chapter 1. The film became a major success and introduced Yash to audiences across India. KGF: Chapter 2 made his popularity even bigger and established him as one of the leading stars in Indian cinema.
Today, Yash is working on big projects such as Toxic and Ramayana. His journey from a humble beginning to national fame continues to inspire many young actors.
