Toxic: Here’s Why KVN Super Happy With Yash!
With the budget of the film exceeding the core, Yash took the responsibility to forgo his remuneration, and took the credit as a producer, taking a share in the net profits of the film.
By: Shanaz B Syed | 2 March 2026 1:33 PM ISTOn March 19 it is going to be all out to treat on the silver screen with KGF fame Yash’s latest movie, Toxic, which is directed by Geetu Mohandas, is hitting the screens. However, with the name of Yassh featuring on the poster multiple times with multiple credits, many are wondering what exactly is happening. In fact, the production house KVN Productions is super happy to credit ya like this, and that's why they have done that.
With the budget of the film exceeding the core, Yash took the responsibility to forgo his remuneration, and took the credit as a producer, taking a share in the net profits of the film. This model always works as the likes of some star heroes, including Shah Rukh Khan and Megastar Chiranjeevi, always take a share of profits rather than demanding full remuneration upfront. While Yash is credited as a story writer of the film, it is because he sat with director Geetu Mohandas to carve out an interesting script that would enter his fans big time.
Anyway, with Yash being the hero of the film, surely his name will be properly created above the title because he's the one who drives a lot of mass crowds to theatres across Indian box office circuits. Reports are coming that KVN Productions is super happy with the way Yash has handled things for them, which otherwise the release would have become super tough, as their films like Jananayagan are still stuck without a release and with almost ₹300 crores investment blocked.
