Yash Shocks Fans With 15-Minute Ramayana Role

After the massive success of KGF, many expected him to have a strong presence in the upcoming mythological epic Ramayana. But now, it looks like his role as Ravana will be kept short in the first part, leading to mixed reactions online. Fans of Yash were caught off guard after reports claimed he would only be seen for 15 minutes in Ramayana: Part 1.

As per reports, Ramayana: Part 1 will mainly focus on Lord Rama�s early journey, and Ravana will only be introduced briefly. Yash�s screen time is expected to build hype for the second part, where his role will be much bigger. While there�s been no official word from the team yet, the update has already triggered buzz on social media.

The makers recently dropped the introduction video of the film, giving fans a glimpse of the scale they�re aiming for. With Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Sunny Deol and Ravi Dubey as Hanuman and Lakshmana, the film is packed with star power. Backed by Nitesh Tiwari, with music by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman, the film is set to release in two parts, Diwali 2026 and 2027.

Yash, meanwhile, is also working on Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, directed by Geetu Mohandas. Set in the backdrop of a gangster world, the film features names like Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, and Huma Qureshi. It�s expected to hit theatres on March 19, 2026. So even if his role in Ramayana: Part 1 is short, Yash has enough coming up to keep his fans excited.
