Did Toxic Bring Yash To Pre-KGF Range?

Before the release of “KGF” Part 1, none in the North knew who is Yash was or what his films were like. The success of that Prashanth Neel directorial made him an overnight superstar, and even in Bollywood, there are a lot of filmmakers trying to meet Rocky Bhai to do a big film. But then, after 4 years after the release of KGF2, Yash has come up with “Toxic” and that altered all the hype unexpectedly.

Toxic is so big that many expected it would shatter the records of Dhurandhar and Pushpa in just a snap. But the film failed to entertain and entice the audience, and it ended up as a mega disaster of the year, with almost ₹500 crores in expected losses. That also affected his image and created a major dent in his career. Some even say that right now Yash’s image was brought down to the pre-KGF era by this flop film.

Well, currently Yash has only Ramayana in his kitty, where he’s playing the evil king, Lord Ravana, and that role might be his shot at redemption. However, the right film would surely place him high on the pedestal, and he should bounce back by doing back-to-back movies that would work at the box office. Hope Yash is already on the planning mission, whicih otherwise his image gets dented further.
