Yash’s much-awaited film Toxic is now getting ready for its theatrical release. The movie has created strong curiosity among fans because of its stylish presentation, action elements and impressive cast. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is scheduled to release on August 26, 2026.

The latest update about the movie is related to its censor certification and runtime. According to the available censor details, Toxic has received an ‘A’ certificate. This means the film is intended only for adult audiences. The movie is said to be an intense action thriller with mature themes and content.

Another major highlight is the runtime. Toxic has a reported duration of 3 hours and 14 minutes. This makes it one of the longer films to arrive in theatres recently. Long-runtime movies have also performed well at the box office when they manage to keep the audience engaged throughout the story.

Yash plays the lead role in the film. The actor, who became a pan-India star after the success of the KGF franchise, is expected to present himself in a different style in this movie. His look, character and action sequences have already attracted considerable attention.

The film also features several popular actresses and actors. Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth are part of the main cast. Akshay Oberoi, Darrell D’Silva, Sudev Nair and Balaji Manohar also appear in important roles. Sanjeeda Sheikh is said to have a special appearance.

Toxic was officially announced in December 2023. After several months of production and post-production work, the film is finally reaching theatres after a long wait.

The makers have also been promoting the movie on a large scale. A recent pre-release event created additional buzz around the film, although a minor incident at the event reportedly caused some concern.

Toxic is being produced by KVN Productions and is directed by Geetu Mohandas. The movie is planned for release in multiple languages across India and overseas markets.
