Most star heroes usually like to quote a price based on their current market, collect all their remuneration before the release of the film, and that’s it. But then, if there is any profit-sharing model, many heroes are not heading to that, because they are not sure about the revenue they would get. However, those who go to a profit-sharing model, including Yash, who is touching new avenues now, are making monstrous income.

If we look into history, the likes of Chiranjeevi back in the 90s used to follow a profit-share model, such that their fee would not burden producers. At the same time, if the film scores a blockbuster, they get 3x their remuneration easily. Recently, Allu Arjun followed this model for Pushpa and Pushpa 2, and he made around ₹300 crores from both the films, as per the insider talk. Now, Yash is giving much bigger business lessons to his peers from all the industries.

Yash got involved in “Toxic” not just as a hero, but also as a co-writer with director Geethu Mohandas, then as a co-producer with KVN Productions, and now distributing the whole of the film in Karnataka through his Monster Mind Creations. All these days, Toxic hasn’t closed a digital streaming deal, but the trailer is enough to do the job now. As per insider reports, if the film gets massive attention for just a week, then Yash is likely to walk away with huge money from Karnataka alone.

So, heroes getting into distribution is a new thing now, and it looks like Yash started the new game now.
