Yash Trying For Hindi, But What About South?

Kannada Hero Yash test at the biggest success of his career in the form of KGF. The film was mega blockbuster, not just in the Telugu states and South Indian demographic, but also in the north Indian belt.

So this has naturally built the expectation on the upcoming film of Yash, which is titled Toxic. This film is currently under production now, and it is likely to release in theatres towards the end of this year or early next year.

Coming to the topic now, there are the latest updates regarding the film, which are trending on social media now. The film has Kiara, Advani and Nayantara in important roles with Kiara playing the main female lead.

Apart from Kiara, we have a host of Bollywood actresses in the lead roles, including Tara Sutaria and Huma Qureshi. Akshay Oberoi is also playing a key role in the film. There is this clear effort to have as many Hindi actors as possible for this film in order to gain some market in the Hindi belt.

The root cause of concern here is that Yash is mainly South Indian Hero and his market mainly lies down here. Whatever comes in Bollywood is only an additional revenue for him after KGF.

But the actor appears to be of the impression that Hindi is his main feeding ground, and that could be the reason why he is extensively going for Hindi actors in the film. This is a clear attempt to appease the Hindi audience by having as many Bollywood actress as possible on board for the film.

The South Indian audience are not necessarily accustomed to watching as many Hindi heroes in native South Indian films, and it has to be seen how this will affect the prospect of the film in the South Indian belt.
