'Yatra 2' Teaser: Jiiva Aces AP CM's Body Language & Delivers!

It is political fever all over the nation. With Telangana elections getting done including a few other states last month, people are now completely focused on the Lok Sabha elections as well as AP elections which will happen in April. Movies on politicians and parties are getting frequent lately. There is a lot of controversy surrounding 'Vyuham' made by RGV.

As we know, 'Yatra' was highly successful and 'Yatra 2' is in the making now. Mahi V Raghav is planning to bring this film on 8th February. While the first part focused on how late YS Rajasekhar Reddy's 'Paada Yatra' helped him win the 2004 elections, the second film will not just focus on YSR but also showcase the rise of current AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The makers released the teaser a while ago and it looks quite compelling. Though the propaganda is pretty much evident, Mahi V Raghav is successful in evoking the required emotion. We can see the political scheming that took place to stop Jagan from getting on the throne. Mahesh Manjrekar played the role of Chandra Babu Naidu while Mammootty was great usual in his cameo as YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Suzanne Bernert is seen as Sonia Gandhi while Ketaki Narayan is also a part of this movie.

It was Jiiva who aced the body language of Jagan Mohan Reddy. His hand gestures, facial expressions and other mannerisms were on point and he delivered quite well going by the teaser. On the whole, the teaser manages to raise the expectations as it touches some sensitive points and keeps the emotional touch intact.

Santosh Narayanan is the music composer while Madhie is the director of photography. Shravan Katikaneni is the editor while Selva Kumar is the editor. Shiva Meka produced this film under Three Autumn Leaves & V Celluloid banners.
