Not always, a combination that's been on the talking from a long time, will get materialised as a movie. It happened many times, but most of the time, young directors think that they can escape this curse. Here comes a young director who dreamt of making it big with the sequel of a superhit, though he didn’t direct the first one.

In fact, all these days, the big Telugu production house that made the big Bollywood film, Sunny Deol’s JAAT, is looking forward to making a sequel to the movie. As director Gopichand Malineni is busy with his current commitments, they have zeroed in on another young director to carve out the film. And now, the name of a big director whose recent big venture flopped is being heard regarding the movie.

Reportedly, the young director who announced to his close industry people already that he’s doing the JAAT sequel, has now been shocked. Many are wondering what actually went wrong in this connection. Some insiders revealed that as the production house is pitching the film on a big scale, they want to get this big director aboard, rather than hiring this young director, who has made only small-budgeted films so far.

On the other hand, the senior director who was now being heard as the prime contender to direct the sequel has actually delivered lots of duds with big stars, and many wonder if his charm will work for the movie.
