In what could be considered an extremely remarkable story, a trio of Indian friends have become millionaires and here’s a look into their story.

Indian-American friends Adarsh Hiremath and Surya Midha have become the world’s youngest self-made billionaires at just 22, according to reports.

Along with their high school friend Brendan Foody, they co-founded Mercor, an AI-driven recruitment startup based in San Francisco. The company connects employers with developers using advanced AI matching technology.

The trio, who met at Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, launched Mercor while still in college. After its rapid success, Adarsh dropped out of Harvard University, and Surya left Georgetown University to focus fully on building the company.

Mercor recently raised around $350 million, valuing the firm at nearly $10 billion, a milestone that turned the young founders into billionaires on paper.

Mercor’s innovative approach to automating global hiring has attracted major investors and placed the founders in global headlines. Their story has inspired many young entrepreneurs worldwide, showing how innovation, risk-taking, and a focus on AI technology can create massive opportunities.

Although some experts point out that startup valuations may fluctuate, the rise of Hiremath and Midha stands as a symbol of the growing influence of Indian-origin talent in the global tech and business landscape.
