10 CRPF Commandos to guard Nita Ambani

Reliance Industries limited chairman Mukesh Ambani's Wife receives 'Y' Category security cover from now. Union Home Ministry has taken a decision in this regard based on the Threat Assessment Report.
As per norms, 10 CRPF Commandos with an escort vehicle will guard Nita Ambani every time she steps out of her home.
Mukesh Ambani was granted 'Z' Category Security in 2013 as he was under potential threat and private security guards weren't allowed to use sophisticated weapons. India's Richest Man would be provided with a pilot and escort vehicle apart from armed commandos. Mukesh & Nita were the only couple in the corporate world to be accorded with VVIP Security cover by the Government.
For the 'Z+' Category security cover, As many as 40 commandos will guard the protectee. VVIP Security Cover has been provided to about 58 individuals in the country at present.
