Private Travels Bus Overturns, 10 Injured

Five people, including a pregnant woman and a six-year-old boy, were killed on Monday when a Volvo bus in which they were travelling overturned after hitting a median on NH-4 near Hoskote in Bangalore Rural district.

Diwakar Travels bus travelling from Hyderabad to Anantapuram overturned injuring at least 10 people in the wee hours of Saturday.As many as five are critically injured in the mishap and all Injured were immediately shifted to near-by hospital and are being treated.

The accident occurred at JP Darga on national highway near Kothuru of Mahaboobnagar district. The reason behind the mishap clears seems to be over speed.Some of the passengers alleged that over speed was the main reason for the bus accident.

The accident was witnessed by the locals nearby who informed the police immediately. The Police came along with 108 to the accident spot. Most of the travellers in this bus are residents of Hyderabad. Police have not zeroed in the actual reasons. National Highways of Mahabubnagar district have become hot spots for accidents but still no actions were taken to remediate them.
