Has Prime Minister Narendra Modi changed? Many Modi watchers say the man has changed. Unlike his earlier demeanor, where he did not take any suggestion from others into consideration, he is talking to his political rivals, predecessors and even experts.
Sample this. During the last one week, Modi personally spoke to former prime minister Manmohan Singh and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi at least four times each. In addition, he also spoke to Ahmed Patel and Chidambaram also one time each.
Despite the political rivalry, he chose to keep them abreast of the Corona control measures. It is perhaps because of this that the Congress has considerably toned down its criticism of the BJP in handling Corona. Interestingly, before April 20, he also spoke to all the chief ministers personally over phone and reviewed the Corona control situation.

They include experts, frontline workers in the fight against Corona, former CMs, former ministers, health experts and others. It is because of these outreaches that there seems to be no major opposition to his decisions while fighting corona.
