1000 Days in CMO: How Jagan Fared as the CM?

The YS Family is one of the politically influential families from Telugu land. The entry of the family into politics started with Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy foraying into politics and going on to take up the Chief Minister post. The next generation also joined the list with his son YS Jagan Mohan Reddy entering politics.
Though Jagan entered politics as the heir of YSR, he created a brand image for himself, and like his father, he too rose to the Chief Minister position. With this, YSR-Jagan's father-son duo had joined the rare list of fathers and sons who served as the Chief Ministers.
He took his YCP to a landslide victory in the 2019 general elections and restricted the grand old Telugu Desam Party to just 23 MLA seats, the worst ever for the TDP. After the grand victory, CM Jagan took oath as the youngest Chief Minister of the state.
CM Jagan had completed 1000 days in the CMO. Marking the occasion, his fans and followers are flooding the social media with elevation posts on how he single-handedly took his party towards the victory.
Looking at how Jagan had fared as the CM, he had brought various schemes as promised during the campaign. Titled Navaratnalu, his schemes almost cover all the sections of people in the society.
While the beneficiaries are enjoying the fruits of the schemes, there are a few negative marks for Jagan for changing his stand on Amaravati after coming to power. When he was in opposition, he supported Amaravati and changed his stand when he became the Chief Minister.
Denting the Amaravati development, Jagan brought a new proposal that he would develop three capitals rather than developing only Amaravati. Despite facing back-to-back shocks from the court, Jagan did not change his mind.
Another issue is that there has been no development in the state in his ruling and the situation of the roads has become worse that the commuters are facing issues to travel on the roads.
One more big controversy that even Jagan fans are not happy about is messing up the TTD. Earlier, he tried to sell properties that belong to the temple.
However, the decision was withdrawn later after a big outrage. Not taking action on the accused who attacked the temples in the state also gained a negative impact on Jagan's image.
