Four years after the Cash-for-Vote Scandal, 11 Minutes Video Footage of the conspiracy to lure TRS Nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson surfaced. It has got details of the source of Rs 50 lakh offered to the TRS Leader by then TDP MLA Revanth Reddy.
A2 Sebastian told Elvis Stephenson that Babu offered to pay Rs 3 to 3.5 crore initially but he insisted on closing the deal for Rs 5 crore. Revanth Reddy left after placing Rs 50 lakh on the table in front of Stephenson. However, Sebastian remained there itself for the commission he sought for being a mediator.
In the 11 minute footage, Both Sebastian and Revanth Reddy has repeatedly opted for 'Babu', 'Boss' references. This video was recorded by ACB using secret cameras and a smartphone. It consists of the conversation between A1 Revanth Reddy and A2 Sebastian. Details collected include Revanth Reddy's meeting with Elvis Stephenson at the residence of Malkam Taylor in Tarnaka and offering bribe of Rs 50 lakh. Revanth Reddy offered an assurance to Elvis Stephenson - 'If anything happens to you in Telangana, We will make you Nominated MLA in AP and support you completely. My Boss gave this responsibility to Me'. In response, Stephenson told: 'I am risking my life'. Then, Revanth told he is doing the work given by his Boss and assured balance payment by night. Thereafter, A Person holding black bag took Rs 50 lakh out of it and placed the amount on the table. It's then ACB took Revanth Reddy into custody and the TDP Legislator had an argument with the Investigation Officials.
