11 National Level Premier Institutes in AP: Complete List

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is making moves to set up 11 National Level Premier Institutes in the new state in accordance with the AP Reorganisation Act. This include AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences - REQUIRE 200 Acres), IIM (Indian Institute of Management - 200 Acres), IIIT (International Institute of Information Technology - 100 Acres), NIDM (National Institute of Disaster Management - REQUIRES 10 Acres), AU (Agricultural University - AU), Petroleum University (200 acres), Central University (500 acres), National Institute of Technology (300 acres), Tribal Universty (500 acres) and Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (200 acres).
Known to be a leader with vision, Chandrababu Naidu ensured all the 3 regions of the state were given equal importance and he wishes to turn the state an educational hub. Collectors were asked to identify the suitable lands and send the proposals to the Government at the earliest.
Locations were these Institutes will be set up:
Krishna-Guntur:
AIIMS, AU, NIT and NIDM.
Visakhapatnam:
IIM, IIIT, Petroleum & Tribal Universities.
Tirupati:
IIT, IISER & Central University.
