AP Town sets Guinness World Record

As many as 11,987 people enrolled for Organ Donation within just an Hour in Narasaraopet Town, AP. This is a new Guinness Book of World Record.
To mark AP Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao's 70th Birthday, An Organ Donation Event was organized at a Stadium from 10.47 AM to 11.47 AM. Kodela himself signed the first Organ Donation form. Thereafter, His Followers and People of Narasaraopet and Sattenapalli took part in the mission. A record number of Organ Donation Forms have been signed in a span of 60 minutes.
Swapni, a representative of Guinness Book of Word Records, handed over the the certificate to Kodela. AP Speaker wished this kind gesture from thousands of people will give a new lease of life to people facing health complications.
Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu holds previous record (6,697 persons) for Highest Number of Organ Donation Forms in an Hour.
