125-Feet BR Ambedkar Statue in Hyderabad

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao took up the mission to install the World's tallest statue of Dr.BR Ambedkar, who is the chief architect of India's constitution, in Hyderabad.
TRS Supremo wishes to install 125-feet Statue of BR Ambedkar by April 14th, 2017. On 14th of this month which marks the 125th Birth Anniversary of Ambedkar, KCR will lay the foundation stone for the statue.
In Addition, TRS Government instructed Officials to develop 'Ambedkar Square' in Hyderabad. A committee led by Deputy CM Kadiam Srihari is assigned the job to choose the suitable location for the statue. The entire project costs anywhere around Rs 25 crore.
On Friday's meeting to fore see the arrangements for Ambedkar's Birth Anniversary, KCR ordered Officials to conduct the celebrations in a never seen before manner.
