Following the deadly outbreak of the ongoing pandemic, employees, and workers in various countries became unemployed and superpower nation United States is no exemption from this.

The United States, which is the worst-hit nation with virus spread also has a lion share of unemployed people. The latest stats on the unemployment percentage is raising many fears and concerns.

The data released by the Labor Department as many as over 1.4 million Americans who lost their jobs with the prevailing situations enrolled themselves for the unemployment aid last week.

What's even more shocking is that for the 19th consecutive week over 1 million people applied for the unemployment aid. This data shows us the ugly impact left by the ongoing pandemic on the US.

In the month of April, when the virus outbreak was at the peak, as many as 20.8 million Americans were laid-off by the companies as everything came to standstill. However, with the economy recovering between May and June around 7.5 million American employees were restored.
