14 TDP MLAs to join YSR Congress?
By: Tupaki Desk | 1 April 2017 9:03 AM GMTSpeculations are abuzz that as many as 14 TDP MLAs will be joined YSR Congress after the Cabinet Expansion on Sunday. These Legislators seems to be already in touch with the YCP Leadership for jumping the fence at any time.
As per a section of Media, TDP Senior Leaders aren't happy with the induction 3 YSR Congress MLAs into AP Cabinet. They even urged AP CM Chandrababu Naidu not to encourage Opportunist Politicians and back the leaders who are loyal to the party for decades. However, TDP Supremo wasn't in a position to take the seniors into confidence in this matter.
CAG Report exposing the corruptions in the welfare and development schemes of TDP Government is a huge blow. Telugu Desam is already facing issues because of the Group Wars in several districts since defections were encouraged by the Party Leadership. Failure in implementing poll promises such as Special Category Status, Visakha Railway Zone, Farm Loan Waiver, DWAKRA Loan Waiver and Monthly Allowances for the Unemployed could work against TDP. All these factors could lead to severe anti-incumbency and hence few TDP MLAs might be considering the option to shift the party.
