15 Days Deadline For Twitter CEO To Reach India

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology asked Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to appear before it in 15 days. If Jack Dorsey isn't available, A Senior Member of Twitter's Global Management Team who is accountable for the Social Networking Firm's Activities should appear before the panel.
Already, The Parliamentary Standing Committee decided not to meet any of the representatives of Twitter India. Panel Members felt there will be no use of discussing with representatives who can't decide policy matters and enforce them.
The Meeting with Twitter Officials was supposed to be for safeguarding citizens rights on social media. Parliamentary Panel refused to meet Twitter India representatives on Monday.
Actually, Twitter CEO was asked to appear before the Parliamentary Standing Committee on February 11th. However, The Company's Head had given it a miss citing travelling to India from US on short notice isn't possible. This is why the 31-Member Panel extended the deadline for 15 days.
